More than a mumma.
Claxton+Co. are a boutique, NZ designed and made jewellery company. They have developed a unique bracelet designed to help remind mums who are breast feeding. But it was more than that. They understand that mums often lose their sense of self once they have children. Their bodies are no longer their own, and who they once were is becoming something else. The brand needed to reflect these values. |
ChallengeThe new brand needed to convey a sense of quality and authenticity. It also need to remind mums that they are "more than a mumma" and that it's OK to look after yourself.
Being a start-up, they had a small budget, so I made their money work hard and provided a solid foundation for their brand, giving them the flexibility to build assets as needed. |
OutcomeA new brand strategy that define attributes, values and the brand essence, or "why" for Claxton+Co. A visual identity system that reflects these values and gives this young company the tools to succeed.
